Our Story

Started with one bad pair of boots.

In 2015, our founder Dave Kessler hiked the entire Billy Yank Trail in boots that fell apart by mile nine. He figured if a battlefield-trail town like Gettysburg couldn't outfit its own hikers properly, somebody ought to fix that. Ridgeline Outfitters opened that fall on Buford Avenue, stocked with the boots, packs, and layers Dave wished he'd had.

"We don't sell anything we haven't hiked in ourselves." — Dave Kessler, Founder

Renee O.Fairfield, PA

"Real gearheads, not just a register. They set up my whole car-camping kit for a Michaux weekend and it all just worked."

Tom I.Gettysburg, PA

"Ordered a rain shell online for in-store pickup on a Friday afternoon — ready in twenty minutes, exactly the fit I needed."
